Job summary

Bowman Consulting seeks a Planning & Development Manager to supervise advanced planning projects for public and private clients from a Florida-based remote location. The role requires coordinating with Bowman staff, engaging with councils and stakeholders, and guiding project teams to deliver timely, policy-aligned outcomes.

Candidates should have 5+ years in land development planning, AICP/ALA preferred, and strong communications with a focus on growth and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in planning or related field; Master’s or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of planning experience in land development/public policy.
• AICP or ALA certification and licensed professional preferred.
• Proficiency in planning/engineering tools and Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• GIS programs knowledge and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct complex planning projects for public and private clients.
• Represent Bowman at councils, boards, and stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with offices to grow Bowman’s national presence.
• Oversee client proposals, budgeting, and expenditures.
