Job summary

Branch Financial, LLC is seeking a Senior Territory Manager to own a defined state or states and grow business with independent agencies. You will be the face of Branch to agency principals and producers, building trust, driving adoption of Branch's quoting tools, and coaching agencies toward writing business that fits our appetite.

The role replaces a remote, digitally delivered model with an in-person, field-based approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a quota- or target-carrying field sales role.
• to be completed by candidate with independent agency distribution experience.
• Experience influencing independent professionals to choose a product/service.
• Existing relationships with independent agencies in assigned state(s) are helpful.
• Comfort with a high-travel, self-directed field schedule.
• Strong in-person presentation and group training skills.
• Consultative selling to diagnose barriers and close opportunities.
• Knowledge of P&C insurance product and underwriting appetite is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the territory and manage the target agency list.
• Carry a production target for bound premium and policy count.
• Maintain a pipeline of appointed agencies and quoting trends.
• Conduct in-person agency visits, lunch-and-learns, and local events.
• Secure production commitments from agencies.
• Pitch Branch's value proposition and differentiate Branch’s offerings.
• Drive quality quoting behavior and educate agencies on our ideal risk profile.
• Train stakeholders to quote in Branch's platform before using other raters.
• Activate and retain producing agencies and expand share with high-potential partners.
• Address objections directly and provide data-backed responses.
• Report field feedback to inform IA strategy.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Underwriting, and Operations to resolve territory barriers.
