Job summary

Affirm is building the foundational post-purchase platform and customer experiences to support global expansion. The role covers the end-to-end post-purchase journey across international markets, ensuring customers can manage purchases through locally tailored experiences.

You will partner with European engineering counterparts and global post-purchase teams to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions that bring products to new regions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using Python or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience shipping web applications using React or Vue.
• Ability to translate business problems into extensible code across multiple components.
• Comfort navigating large codebases and giving constructive feedback through reviews.
• Track record of owning professional growth and seeking feedback from teammates.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects advancing the team's roadmap with support from senior teammates.
• Collaborate with engineering partners and stakeholders, surfacing risks and design choices early.
• Balance delivery speed with engineering quality to meet business goals and maintain reliability.
• Help build team community through growth, mentorship, and development activities.
• Participate in on-call rotation to maintain platform health.
