Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Software Engineer for the CDP Payment Acceptance team within the Developer group. You will help build the stablecoin payment rail powering merchant checkout, subscriptions, and onchain settlement for businesses of all sizes.

You'll own end-to-end feature delivery across Go backend and React/Next.js frontend, implement durable workflows with Temporal, and collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering to integrate Payment Acceptance into Coinbase's developer platform for

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack production experience with Go and TypeScript/React.
• Relational databases experience, especially PostgreSQL, including schema design and migrations.
• APIs design experience (protobuf/gRPC, REST) and observability instrumentation.
• Experience with durable workflow engines (Temporal or Cadence) and onchain patterns.
• Ability to write design docs, PR descriptions and runbooks for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature delivery across Go backend services and the React/Next.js checkout experience, including APIs and DB migrations.
• Build and refine the buyer checkout UI with a focus on conversion, accessibility, and performance.
• Implement durable payment workflows using Temporal for onchain settlement, refunds, and reconciliation.
• Instrument changes with structured logs, metrics, and Datadog traces; participate in on-call rotation.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to integrate Payment Acceptance into the Coinbase Developer Platform.
