Responsibilities

• Own multi-year technical strategy and architecture for the Payments platform.
• Build and evolve distributed systems to handle high-volume payment traffic with observable, fault-tolerant design.
• Drive engineering quality by establishing shared frameworks and coding standards.
• Partner with Product, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to deliver well-scoped technical solutions.
• Lead scaling and reliability initiatives and drive improvements via postmortems.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and architectural guidance.
