Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Wallets, Liquidity & Bridging team within the Platform organization.

You will design and build backend services in Go powering wallet operations, liquidity movements, and cross-chain bridging across custodial and non-custodial flows. You will drive reliability, observability, and cross-team integration with Trading, Custody, Staking, and other platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Go and service-oriented distributed systems.
• Experience building and operating production backend services with high reliability.
• Familiarity with blockchain tech such as cross-chain integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of backend services (Go) powering wallet operations, liquidity movements, and cross-chain bridging across custodial and non-custodial flows.
• Build and improve distributed systems that manage transaction lifecycle, signing, broadcasting, and on-chain reconciliation across protocols like Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana.
• Improve reliability and observability for wallet services and contribute to incident response and post-mortems.
• Collaborate with Trading, Custody, Staking, and cross-platform teams to integrate wallet services with downstream products.
• Execute service decomposition and architecture improvements to create reusable platform services for other teams.
• Support engineering quality through code reviews, design feedback, and architecture discussions.
