Job summary

Coinbase is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Wallets, Liquidity & Bridging team. You will design and build backend services in Go that support wallet operations, liquidity movements, and cross-chain bridging across custodial and non-custodial flows.

You will work on distributed systems for transaction lifecycle, signing, broadcasting, and on-chain reconciliation across Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, and more.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with proficiency in Go and hands-on design of service-oriented distributed systems.
• Experience building scalable production backend services with high accuracy and reliability.
• Familiarity with blockchain tech such as on-chain data, cross-chain integrations, or transaction construction.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of backend services (Go) powering wallet operations, liquidity movements, and cross-chain bridging.
• Build and improve distributed systems for transaction lifecycle, signing, broadcasting, and on-chain reconciliation across multiple protocols.
• Improve reliability and observability of wallet services, contribute to incident response and post-mortems.
