Job summary

Bennie, a remote-first employee benefits platform, is seeking a People Operations Generalist to own the employee experience across the lifecycle. You will drive operational excellence, data integrity, and scalable processes using modern HR tech, while aligning with Bennie’s values and remote culture.

Reporting to the VP of People, you will implement automations, maintain HRIS workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance across states, enabling Bennie to attract and retain top talent nationwide.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a multi-state remote environment.
• Hands-on with Rippling and Lattice; comfortable with Gemini for automation.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and independent work in a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Employee Lifecycle & Onboarding Operations.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and lifecycle status changes.
• Document SOPs and employee handbooks across People Operations.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement AI-enabled automations.
• Support total rewards and wellness initiatives for remote culture.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws across states and remote guidelines.
• Promote internal culture initiatives and remote team connectivity.
