Job summary

Bennie is a remote-first employer specializing in employee benefits services and technology. The Benefits Consultant will manage a book of business, develop client strategies, and partner with carriers and vendors to design compelling benefit solutions for Bennie’s customers.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer success, drive retention, and deliver measurable results while aligning with Bennie’s core values and consulting delivery model.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of benefits consulting experience managing complex client accounts across diverse market segments.
• Deep knowledge of funding mechanisms and large-group regulatory compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA).
• Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and accountability for the success and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Lead and manage Bennie’s consulting model for assigned customers, delivering high-quality benefit consulting services.
• Develop and execute annual customer account plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes and educate customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and Bennie collaborators.
