Job summary

EEI, an employee-owned firm, seeks a Commissioning Project Manager to lead commissioning, QA, and performance testing for data centers, healthcare facilities, and other high-reliability environments. You will oversee planning, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure systems meet project specs and client expectations.

You will manage the full delivery lifecycle, mentor junior staff, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and quality across multiple concurrent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years in commissioning, project management, building systems, controls, construction, or similar environments.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, controls, and building automation.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships across multiple projects.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning projects through planning, design, construction, testing, and closeout.
• Manage budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and overall project performance.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, design teams, and stakeholders.
• Lead startup verification, functional testing, and integrated systems testing.
• Review design documents and sequences of operation for alignment with objectives.
• Mentor junior commissioning staff and drive technical excellence.
