Job summary

EEI is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead commissioning, QA, and performance testing for data centers, healthcare facilities, and other high-reliability environments. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources, and client relationships while ensuring systems meet specifications and standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commissioning or related fields, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Sciences or related field is required.
• 5+ years of commissioning, project management, or high-reliability environment experience is required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, controls, and building automation systems.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships across multiple projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient with meetings and presenting technical information.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning projects through planning, design, construction, testing, and closeout.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and overall performance.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, design teams, and stakeholders.
• Lead startup verification, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and troubleshooting.
• Review design documents and sequences of operation to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Identify risks and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to EEI's culture of excellence.
