Job summary

EEI is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead commissioning, QA, and performance testing for data centers, healthcare facilities, and other high-reliability environments. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources, and client relationships while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully functional systems.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and driving quality across projects, with a hybrid work environment and significant travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years of commissioning, project management, building systems, or high reliability environments.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, controls, and building automation.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, resources, and client relationships.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; capable of cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning projects through planning, design, construction, testing, and closeout.
• Manage budgets, schedules, staffing, and overall project performance.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, contractors, design teams, and stakeholders.
• Oversee startup verification, functional testing, and integrated systems testing.
• Review design documents and sequences of operation for alignment with objectives.
• Identify risks, manage issues, and develop solutions to keep projects moving.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to EEI's technical excellence.
