Job summary

EEI seeks a Commissioning Project Manager to lead commissioning, quality assurance, and performance testing of critical facilities, including data centers and healthcare environments.

You will manage planning, design review, testing, and turnover, with budgets, schedules, and client relationships, while mentoring junior staff and working with multidisciplinary teams.

This role emphasizes technical excellence, client service, and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years of commissioning and project management experience in high-reliability environments.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, controls, and building automation.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, resources, and client relationships across multiple projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning projects through planning, design, construction, testing, and closeout.
• Manage budgets, schedules, staffing, and overall performance.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Lead commissioning activities including startup verification and testing.
• Review design documents and sequences of operation for alignment with objectives.
• Identify risks, manage issues, and develop solutions.
• Mentor junior staff and support EEI's technical excellence.
