Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to lead strategic relationships with priority healthcare providers, coordinating across matrix teams to advance product access and portfolio performance.

You will develop comprehensive account plans, engage with hospital decision-makers, and drive utilization of Amgen cardiovascular products in complex health systems while partnering with MSLs and field teams to ensure compliant, data-driven strategies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2+ years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Master’s degree with 4+ years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serves as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, executing compliant, innovative strategies to engage priority providers.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead implementation initiatives that enable sustainable, institution/system utilization.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business unit strategy.
• Collaborates with field teams and medical science liaisons as appropriate.
• Meet with hospital decision-makers (Pharmacy, Lipid, Cardiology) and other executives to advance portfolio utilization.
• Present MAC approved data/messages with compliant delivery.
• Coordinate pull-through and access with other sales colleagues.
