Job summary

Canals is hiring its first BDRs to build an outbound-focused pipeline for industrial distributors. You will work directly with leadership to craft the playbook, identify messaging that lands, and partner with Account Executives to create qualified pipeline across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related distributors.

You will own high-volume outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn, conduct targeted research, and develop the craft of objection-handling and qualification that enables scalable

Responsibilities

• Prospect into industrial wholesale distributors with account-specific research.
• Run high-volume outbound via phone, email, and LinkedIn; phone is core.
• Book qualified meetings for AEs with context for smooth handoffs.
• Engage at industry events: pre-show outreach, on-floor conversations, post-show follow-ups.
• Learn the industry and ERP relevance; understand distributor workflows and invoice matching.
• Document learnings for future hires; share wins and misses with the team.
• Provide market feedback to marketing and product teams.
