Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production systems.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based applications and designing guardrails.
• Ability to embed with non-technical domain experts and translate workflows into engineering requirements.
• Familiarity with compliance/regulatory systems and data handling.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration concepts and auditability.
• Forward Deployed Engineering or embedded advisory experience is a plus.
• Commitment to responsible AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Embed with Compliance leadership and frontline teams to surface high-leverage automation opportunities.
• Prototype using Coinbase's AI platform and define build-vs-buy strategy.
• Own the Compliance automation roadmap in collaboration with leadership.
• Ensure outputs are auditable, defensible to regulators, and have human-in-the-loop controls.
• Drive adoption with trainings and feedback loops to ensure tool usage.
