Job summary

Ting Labs is seeking a remote FST Tech to blend hands-on technical troubleshooting with customer service, supporting our fire safety solutions from home. You will be the first point of contact for customers and help guide them through initial hazard cases with clear communication and structured problem-solving.

The role requires strong teamwork, adaptability to a startup pace, and occasional travel for training and team meetings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technical support or customer service.
• Ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
• Flexible, startup-friendly with rotating schedules.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries after Ting Fire Hazard Cases are initiated.
• Engage with customers and follow up to gather information to support troubleshooting.
• Perform Tier 1 troubleshooting with customers using established guidance.
• Escalate Tier 2+ cases to FST Engineers as needed.
• Work remotely with flexible schedules and occasional travel for training and meetings.
