Job summary

Airwallex is seeking an ambitious Account Executive to grow our SME & Growth footprint in the US. You’ll own the complete sales cycle—from prospecting to onboarding—translating complex fintech capabilities into clear business value for ecommerce, SaaS, and professional services customers.

This remote role is open to candidates in the Pacific Time Zone (excluding the San Francisco Bay Area). You’ll build expertise across payments, cross-border, and spend management, drive revenue, and collaborate

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of full-cycle fintech sales experience or proven success selling into finance departments.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical or solution-based selling environment.
• Experience selling to ecommerce, SaaS or subscription businesses, spend management, or finance teams.
• A consistent track record of pipeline generation and outbound prospecting.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and sales enablement tools.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, close, onboarding, and early customer success.
• Build deep expertise across payments acceptance, cross-border payments, billing, and spend management to help SME and Growth customers solve complex financial challenges.
• Drive revenue growth by positioning Airwallex’s financial technology suite around clear customer and business value.
• Partner with legal, finance, strategy, and technology partners to move opportunities forward and support strong customer outcomes.
• Improve the sales motion by developing new verticals, documenting best practices, representing Airwallex at relevant industry events, and setting a high standard through strong performance and teamwork.
