Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking a Senior Analyst of Financial Operations to own brand remittances end to end. This remote US-based role will pull, validate, and prepare remittance data, reviewing work before Manager approval, and serve as the primary Fin Ops contact for assigned brands.

You will partner with Development and Engineering on data automation projects, identify recurring issues, and drive improvements across remittance processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of experience in financial operations or related analytical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Advanced Excel and experience using AI to analyze data and automate workflows.
• Understanding data movement between source systems and reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-team coordination.
• Experience with QuickBooks or NetSuite and BI tools is helpful.
• Experience with payment reconciliations or remittance processes.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned brand remittances end to end, from pulling and validating data through preparing the remittance package and self-review.
• Reconcile sales activity to payment data, investigate variances, document resolutions before Manager review.
• Serve as the primary Fin Ops contact for assigned brands, responding to remittance questions and coordinating follow-ups.
• Work across teams to understand brand requirements and resolve anomalies affecting remittance calculations or timing.
• Lead data and automation improvements by documenting processes, defining reporting needs, and validating changes with Dev/Eng.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to remittance processes, reporting, and controls.
