Job summary

Liberty Mutual is seeking a Business Analyst II in the Financial Operations area. The role conducts research, analysis, and resolution of deductible and loss-billing issues for GRS accounts, working with Claims, Underwriting, Finance, IT, Helmsman and external stakeholders to ensure accurate billing and process improvements.

You will mentor junior analysts, participate in cross-functional projects, and support documentation and audits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or direct loss billing activities for moderate to complex GRS accounts; coordinate with Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Helmsman, IT and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial and quality assurance controls for accurate results.
• Compile information and perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to improve LBU processes and systems projects.
• Lead team projects to implement changes and drive process efficiencies.
• Perform validations, reconciliations, and investigations of data.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet customer loss billing expectations and resolve issues.
• Provide guidance to less experienced analysts to accelerate skill development and review outputs for quality and compliance.
• Assist with documentation and audit materials.
