• Experience analyzing and resolving patient inquiries and payor contracts preferred.

Aufgaben

• Identify, analyze, and resolve patient inquiries and accounts to maximize payment and resolution.
• Monitor work queues and escalate issues to supervisor when needed.
• Research and follow up on accounts to resolve inquiries and ensure final resolution.
• Respond to patient, insurer, and other inquiries; document and communicate findings.
• Negotiate and document payment plans within policy guidelines.
• Support timely A/R collection and route uncollectible accounts to collection agencies or attorneys as needed.
• Document data accurately and adhere to department policies and PHI/privacy rules.
