Post University is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor to support online learners through the tuition and financial aid process. This remote role requires guiding students through payment options, collecting documentation, and ensuring compliance with federal and institutional policies.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent phone, email, and face‑to‑face communication skills; maintains a positive attitude.
Proven ability to work effectively with all members of the financial aid team to improve student experience.
Excellent computer skills; able to use Microsoft Office products and university systems.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Energetic and goal-oriented; strong interest in working in a fast‑paced environment that requires multitasking.

Responsibilities

Advise students on tuition payment plans, financial aid options, and application procedures.
Collaborate with internal departments (Admissions, Student Accounts, Registrar, Advising) to support student financial needs.
In collaboration with the packaging specialist, collect and verify financial aid documentation to complete student files.
Maintain accurate records and perform timely data entry in university systems.
Counsel students with high balances or delinquent accounts to identify additional financing solutions.
