Job summary

Beyond EQT Real Estate Development Ltd (Cyprus) seeks a Group Finance Manager to build the finance function from the ground up. You will shape processes, controls, and reporting across multiple entities, while mentoring the founder and growing the team from month three.

This is a fully remote role offering cross-border exposure and USD compensation, with milestone-based bonuses. You’ll collaborate with external accountants, drive governance, and create a scalable finance infrastructure to

Qualifications

• Experience as the sole finance person, second-in-command, or head of a small in-house team.
• Small-company background; not from large corporates.
• 5–12 years in finance or accounting across multiple entities and tax jurisdictions.
• Strong commercial judgment in reviewing invoices before signing off.
• Persistence to chase unresponsive counterparties.
• Precise written English and fluency with AI tools.
• ACCA/CIMA finalists or recently qualified candidates are welcome, qualification helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage a cross-border compliance calendar with external accountants.
• Manage relationships with external accountants and advisors, including fees.
• Build the accounting infrastructure, chart of accounts, and monthly reporting pack.
• Oversee banking relationships across jurisdictions.
• Recruit and manage your first direct report from month three.
• Oversee backlog of asset disposals and entity wind-downs across countries.
