Job summary

TRAC Recruiting, Inc. seeks a Finance Operating Executive (REMOTE) for a full-time, direct-hire role with a Private Equity partner. You will work remotely, but on-site with clients as required, delivering accounting and finance operations expertise across portfolio companies.

You will lead systems implementations, drive value, and optimize performance for the PE firm while coordinating with management teams and external auditors. CPA/MAcc or MBA credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, incl private equity.
• Hands-on experience converting cash-basis to accrual/GAAP.
• Hands-on experience implementing and/or integrating GL systems and processes.
• Experience building 3-statement consolidation models.
• Strong Excel skills with advanced functions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a true business partner to CEOs at portfolio companies.
• Analyze accounting processes to identify issues and improve workflows.
• Prepare journal entries and ledgers for GAAP reconciliation.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows; assist auditors.
• Implement monthly financial reporting packages integrated with client GL.
• Lead or support systems implementations and value-creation efforts.
• Prepare rolling 13-week cash flow forecasts and EBITDA/FCF analyses.
• Review loan covenants and prepare lender reporting packages.
• Develop month-end close checklists and improve close cycle.
