Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer (FSE) to support customers across Georgia and nationwide. You will install, maintain, and repair instruments, build customer relationships, and drive service sales while traveling as needed. Training will be provided in Durham, NC or St.

Louis, MO during the first year, with ongoing travel for support and onboarding. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree or equivalent experience, with 2+ years in electro-mechanical/system troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Education substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Build trust with customers, promote service agreements, and identify sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through billable offerings like PMs and equipment moves.
• Attend 6-9 weeks of product training within the first year.
• Travel for customer visits including overnight stays and occasional national travel.
• Complete service work orders and QA checklists accurately.
