Job summary

bioMérieux seeks a Field Systems Engineer to service instruments across Georgia and nationally. The role requires independent work, travel up to 90% domestically, and training trips to Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO within the first year.

Responsibilities include installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs, plus promoting service agreements and cross-functional sales support. Strong troubleshooting and field service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent with 2+ years in troubleshooting/repair of electro-mechanical, electronic, computer or electrical systems.
• Experience substitution: 6+ years in related roles in lieu of a degree.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs; perform installations, maintenance, upgrades and repairs to ensure instruments meet specs.
• Build relationships with customers; promote service agreements and cross-functional sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue via preventive maintenance and equipment moves; travel for training and site visits.
