Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across Georgia with national coverage as needed. You will install, maintain, and repair instruments, traveling up to 90% and performing on-site support.

You will collaborate with sales and applications teams to drive service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves while adhering to quality procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional related experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of complex electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems in commercial, industrial, or military setting.
• Education substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to ensure instruments meet specifications.
• Build trust with customers, promote service agreements, and identify sales opportunities for cross-functional teams.
• Foster teamwork across service and support teams while driving field service revenue through billable offerings.
