Job summary

BioMerieux Inc. is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across the assigned territory, with national coverage as needed.

The role requires remote work with overnight travel on short notice, and a strong focus on delivering a best-in-class customer experience. The FSE will perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs, while promoting service agreements and identifying opportunities for cross-functional sales and service revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years related experience in electronics/engineering fields.
• 2+ years of professional experience troubleshooting and/or repairing complex electro-mechanical/electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs ensuring instruments meet specifications.
• Build trust with customers, promote service agreements, and identify sales opportunities for cross-functional teams.
• Foster teamwork across service and support and drive field service revenue through billable offerings.
