bioMerieux Inc. is seeking a Field Systems Engineer (FSE) to service customers across the territory and nationally. The role requires hands-on installations, maintenance, upgrades and repairs with a focus on delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience troubleshooting and/or repair of electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• Education substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Build trust with customers, promote service agreements, and identify sales opportunities.
• Foster teamwork across service and support teams while driving field service revenue.
• Attend 6-9 weeks of product training at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO offices in the first year.
• Travel includes daily customer visits with potential overnight travel and occasional national travel.
• Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotation.
