Job summary

Ceridian HCM, Inc. is seeking a Field Services Manager to lead regional field service operations and to drive service level agreements, customer relationships, and performance improvements. The role requires balancing people management with hands-on technical oversight and strategic initiatives to optimize service delivery.

Note: this role is primarily virtual, with up to 25% onsite presence in the Southeast US; residency or willingness to relocate near day-travel regions is required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in service delivery & operations.
• Expert level skills with a wide range of audio, video and networking equipment.
• Knowledgeable of low voltage electrical concepts and electronics.
• Possess advanced AV networking, Audio and video skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and customer service communication skills.
• Service project management skills.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
• Possess basic to advanced networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Functional Supervisor(s) and Field Service Technicians as a people leader.
• Collaborate with Field Service Directors on high-level service projects including installations.
• Provide regional staffing priorities and authorize cross-team resource adjustments.
• Train staff in Service Process platforms and procedures.
• Develop coaching and development expectations and monitor performance feedback.
• Act as liaison between Technical Operations, Engineering and Client Success Management.
• Provide field engineering recommendations for aging systems.
• Assess subcontractor performance with Field Service Supervisor.
• Ensure timely review of technician service reports and drive corrective action.
• Lead regional case-performance reviews with Supervisors and Case Management.
• Identify process improvements to optimize field service delivery.
• Deliver high-level field service to diverse environments including AV systems.
• Maintain performance of service-related processes and implement improvements.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives and workflow automation.
• Align with Day 1/Day 0 teams to standardize project-to-service workflows.
