Job summary

FUJIFILM North America Corporation seeks a Field Service Technician – Level 4 to act as the SME for a product line and mentor other technicians. The role requires extensive travel across the US, with remote capability in the Western region, near major airports.

The candidate will provide on-site and remote support, lead projects, and ensure timely service delivery while coordinating with regional managers and customers. Strong electronics knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years field service experience with related product lines.
• Two-year electronics or mechanical engineering degree or equivalent in field experience.
• Field service experience with toner-based production equipment.
• Strong electronics knowledge and computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and customer service focus.
• Valid driver’s license and passport; able to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor technicians; act as SME for the product line.
• Lead teams on special projects requiring technical expertise.
• Provide remote and on-site support across the Americas.
• Resolve complex service issues using data and KT methodology.
• Maintain communication with managers and support teams for issue resolution.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Perform pre-installation assessments and site inspections per equipment requirements.
• Submit service activity information timely; manage parts return and Preventative Maintenance.
• Attend global training to stay current on products; conduct technical training for technicians.
• Support sales demos and customer visits as needed; participate in critical account activities.
