The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and a proven ability to work in customer environments. The position involves on-site and remote support, extensive travel (overnight), and collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Product

Qualifications

• Install, calibrate, and validate metrology equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs while documenting outcomes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and application issues.
• Provide on-site and remote technical assistance and customer training.
• Review service manuals and schematics to diagnose problems.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, calibrate, and validate advanced precision measurement equipment at customer facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and complete necessary repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and application-related problems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to customers.
• Train customers on equipment operation, software functionality, and best practices.
• Complete accurate service reports, expense reports, time records, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Specialists, and distributors to resolve issues.
• Support trade shows, product demonstrations, and technical training events as needed.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, retrofits, and replacements.
• Follow safety, quality, cybersecurity, and customer-site requirements.
