The role involves frequent travel to customer facilities and providing on-site and remote support and training. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service, and the ability to work with vision systems and metrology equipment.

Formación

• Experience in field service or on-site technical support.
• Ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Proficient in reading technical documentation.
• Experience with metrology equipment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Install, calibrate, and validate precision measuring systems at customer facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and application-related problems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support and training to customers.
• Prepare accurate service reports, time records, and technical documentation.
• Maintain tools, testing equipment, and service inventory.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and distributors to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities for upgrades, retrofits, and replacements.
