Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician for on-site and remote support of power distribution equipment. Travel across the US and Canada is required; training at our Aurora, OH headquarters will be provided.

Qualifications

• Service experience with electric power systems - Required.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills - Required.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics - Required.
• Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC based programs - Required.
• Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge - Required.
• Electronics or electrical training from military service - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment.
• Provide customer support on site and via email and phone.
• Maintain timely and detailed service records in the LayerZero system.
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents.
• Regularly scheduled time slots for LayerZero 24/7 incident response.
