Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician for on-site and remote service of power distribution equipment across the US and Canada. The role emphasizes electrical troubleshooting, safety, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities include startup, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and emergency response, with travel and weekend/holiday work as needed. Training at headquarters in Ohio may occur early in employment.

Qualifications

• Service experience with electric power systems – Required.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills – Required.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics – Required.
• Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC based programs – Required.
• Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge – Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment.
• Static transfer switches
• Power distribution equipment
• Remote power panels
• Provide customer support while on site and via email and phone
• Maintain service records in the LayerZero system
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents
