Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to support our power distribution equipment with a mix of remote and on-site service across the US and Canada.

The role includes startup, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and emergency response, with strong emphasis on safety and customer communication. Training will occur at LayerZero Headquarters in Aurora, Ohio, followed by field work at customer sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience with electric power systems – required.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills – required.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics – required.
• Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC based programs – required.
• Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge – required.
• Electronics or electrical training from military service – preferred.
• Clean driving record – required.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment.
• Maintain timely and detailed service records in the LayerZero system.
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents.
• On-site and remote customer support via phone and email.
