Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems Inc. seeks a Customer Service Technician to support advanced power distribution equipment, performing startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance both on-site and remotely.

Strong electrical troubleshooting abilities, safety awareness, and a customer-first mindset are required. Travel across the US and Canada to customer sites is required; training occurs at headquarters in Aurora, OH.

Qualifications

• Service experience with electric power systems is required.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills are required.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics is required.
• Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC based programs is required.
• Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge is required.
• Electronics or electrical training from military service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment.
• Provide customer support on site and via email and phone.
• Maintain timely and detailed service records in the LayerZero system.
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents.
• Support 24/7 incident response with scheduled time slots.
