LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Customer Service Technician to support our power distribution equipment. The role combines on-site and remote service to ensure reliability and performance for critical systems across customer sites in the US and Canada.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical troubleshooting abilities, safety focus, and a customer-first mindset. Training occurs at LayerZero Headquarters in Aurora, Ohio, with travel for field assignments.

Qualifications

• Service experience with electric power systems is required.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills are required.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics is required.
• Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC-based programs is required.
• Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge is required.
• Electronics or electrical training from military service is preferred.
• Clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment.
• Static transfer switches
• Power distribution equipment
• Remote power panels
• Provide customer support while on site and via email and phone
• Maintain timely and detailed service records in the LayerZero system
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents
• Regularly scheduled time slots for 1-844-855-5977 LayerZero 24/7 incident response
