Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Customer Service Technician to support our advanced power distribution equipment. The role includes startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance, with remote work and travel across the US and Canada.

Training will be conducted at LayerZero Headquarters in Aurora, Ohio, with field service at customer sites. The candidate must have strong electrical troubleshooting abilities, the ability to read diagrams, PC-based PCB programming,

Qualifications

• Service experience with electric power systems.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics.
• Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC-based programs.
• Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment.
• Maintain and service static transfer switches and power distribution equipment.
• Service remote power panels and provide customer support on-site, via email and phone.
• Maintain detailed service records in the LayerZero system.
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents.
