Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. seeks a Customer Service Technician to support on-site and remote service of our power distribution equipment. The role includes startup, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and emergency response while traveling across the US and Canada.

You will read diagrams, troubleshoot electrical systems, program PC-based PCB software, and maintain detailed service records, with training at our Aurora, Ohio headquarters and field work at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing electric power systems.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics.
• Familiarity with programming PC-based PCB software.
• Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment.
• Static transfer switches
• Power distribution equipment
• Remote power panels
• Provide customer support while on site and via email and phone
• Maintain timely and detailed service records in the LayerZero system
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents
• Regularly scheduled time slots for 1-844-855-5977 LayerZero 24/7 incident response
