Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States seeks an experienced IT/Technical Specialist to support ASTRO systems remotely from anywhere in the 48 continental states. You will perform upgrades, troubleshooting, and integration work for complex communications platforms, with emphasis on security, networking, and AD administration.

The role requires 2+ years in IT or field service, willingness to travel up to 75–80%, and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 2+ years in IT, networking, field service, or LMR radio.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience with IT troubleshooting and network infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel up to 75–80% and obtain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Assist with networking, cybersecurity, AD administration, and LMR communications.
• Manage documentation, weekly activity reports, and KPI tracking.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams across engineering and support.
• Maintain and optimize complex RF/broadband communications architectures.
