Job summary

Alma Lasers is seeking a Field Service Technician II to travel across the Central United States with occasional East/West Coast coverage. You will repair and perform preventive maintenance on Alma Lasers equipment at customer sites, reading diagrams and contributing to documentation.

Candidates should have an Associate degree in electrical repair and 4+ years of field service experience, with strong problem solving and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical or electronic repair.
• 4+ years of Field Service experience.
• Travel readiness for 75–90% travel.
• ISO 13485 knowledge preferred.
• Experience with component level repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning medical instruments or equipment.
• Repair equipment after diagnosis.
• Read diagrams and schematics to perform board swaps.
• Test machines after repair to ensure proper functionality.
• Provide Level 2 support via phone to customers and internal employees.
• Mentor field service personnel.
