Job summary

Alma Lasers is seeking a Field Service Technician II to travel to customer sites across the continental United States, with a focus on the Central US. The role includes repairs of Alma Lasers equipment and scheduled preventative maintenance, with occasional Level 2 support by phone.

You will be based remotely, primarily covering the Central US, and travel to the East and West Coasts as needed. Strong electrical repair experience and ISO 13485 familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical or electronic repair or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of field service experience.
• Experience with component level repair preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning medical instruments or equipment.
• Repair equipment after diagnosis.
• Read diagrams and schematics to perform full board swaps as needed.
• Test machines after repair to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain and complete all repair documentation paperwork.
• Provide Level 2 support via phone to customers and internal employees.
• Set appointments to perform preventive maintenance, service calls, and installations.
• Mentor and aid other field service personnel.
