Job summary

ABB is hiring for a remote USA field service leadership role. You will lead on-site service activities, install and commission equipment, and coach technicians while identifying improvement opportunities. The position supports energy and protection solutions across data centers and industrial facilities.

Applicants should have electrical engineering credentials and extensive field service experience with critical power equipment, robust communication skills, and a strong sense of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent with hands-on experience in critical power equipment.
• Ability to communicate complex issues to varied audiences.
• Experience with field service tasks and on-site troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with customers to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Perform field service tasks and on-site troubleshooting within certified areas.
• Install, commission, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment as required.
• Coach technicians, supervise complex site activities, and train team members.
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability of parts and quality standards.
• Identify product and quality improvements and communicate opportunities.
