Job summary

ABB is seeking a remote field service professional in the US, based in Arizona, to execute service work on critical power equipment and maintain strong customer relations. You will troubleshoot on-site, install and retrofit systems, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 1+ years’ servicing critical power equipment.
• Associates Degree in electrical technology with 3+ years’ servicing critical power equipment (or equivalent work/military experience).
• Advanced communication and MS Office proficiency; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service tasks and on-site troubleshooting per instructions.
• Prepare material lists ensuring quality and availability of parts and equipment.
• Execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
• Proactively detect equipment failures and advise on corrective actions.
