Job summary

ABB USA seeks an Electrical Service Engineer to execute on-site service work for critical power equipment, delivering quality customer service per work instructions and ABB guidelines. responsibilities include field troubleshooting, material planning, and installations in WA state and remote locations.

You will foster strong customer relationships, identify improvement opportunities, and support ongoing sales via technical insights while upholding safety standards and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent with experience servicing critical power equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate across organizational levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project tools.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with customers to identify opportunities for operational improvement and eliminate pain points.
• Perform field service tasks, including identifying technical issues and conducting certified on-site troubleshooting.
• Prepare material lists for service activities, ensuring quality standards.
• Execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and replacements.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
• Proactively detect potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide recommendations to management for improving operations and customer service.
• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe practices promptly.
