Veolia LabWater Solutions in the United States Northeast seeks a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory water purification systems at customer sites. This travel-based role requires independent work and close collaboration with Technical Support, Sales, and Customer Service.

You should have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of two years of field service experience installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers at all levels.
• Willingness to travel extensively including overnight travel.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and software updates.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical failures at customer sites.
• Generate quotations for billable repairs and PM agreements.
• Complete service reports and maintain timely administrative paperwork.
• Train customers on system operation and maintenance practices.
• Respond to emergency service requests with professional communication.
• Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and vehicle in good condition.
