Job summary

Veolia LabWater Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory water purification systems across a Northeast territory including Boston and nearby states.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service while working with cross-functional teams. This is a remote, travel-based position with on-site customer facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of two years of field service experience installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication with customers at all levels.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and software updates.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment at customer sites.
• Generate service reports, quotes, and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with Technical Support and Sales to identify PMA opportunities.
• Train customers on system operation and maintenance practices.
• Respond to emergency service requests with professional communication.
• Maintain tools, devices, inventory, and vehicle in service-ready condition.
