Job summary

Veolia LabWater Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory water purification systems at customer facilities across the US Northeast region. You will travel to customer sites, performing preventative maintenance, validations, and service support with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, biomedical technology, mechanical technology, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of field service experience installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel when necessary.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems according to procedures and specs.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, updates, and inspections for optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures at customer sites.
• Complete service reports, calibration documentation, and administrative paperwork on time.
• Generate quotations for repairs, PMs, validation services, and system upgrades.
• Proactively manage PMA opportunities within the territory in collaboration with Sales and Customer Service.
