Veolia Water Tech is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician to install, calibrate, and service laboratory water purification systems across the Northeast. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and train customers on proper operation while traveling extensively in CT, MA, NY, RI, NH and nearby regions.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of field service installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with customers at all levels.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and software updates.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures.
• Replace defective components and restore equipment to factory specs.
• Complete service reports, calibration docs, and administration on time.
• Generate quotes for repairs, PM agreements, and system upgrades.
• Manage PMA opportunities and coordinate with Sales and Customer Service.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance procedures.
• Respond to emergency service requests with professional communication.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and vehicle in a ready state.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies in lab, pharma, healthcare, and industrial environments.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call support.
